Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from the Chinese University of Hong Kong. Dr Ching obtained his PhD (chemical pathology) in the
same University by studying mutation of immunoglobulin gene using molecular technique including sequencing, cloning, PCR and transgenic mice.
He continued to develop his career in the cancer research field. For the past 10 years he worked in a commercially-owned accredited molecular
diagnostic laboratory and the Tai Lung Veterinary Laboratory, Agriculture, Fisheries and Conservation Department (AFCD).
Dr Ching has wide experience using real time PCR for pathogens detection on veterinary diseases including virus, bacteria and fungus.
